Abstract Audio returns on March 21 with the first event of 2026 — a night dedicated to underground electronic dance music, played with intention, care, and respect for sound.
Born from a love of vinyl, high-fidelity systems, and rooms that invite people to truly listen, Abstract Audio is about more than DJs and dance floors. It’s about the moments between tracks, the shared energy in the room, and the feeling of being part of something that exists outside the algorithm.

Masonic Hall, Cumberland
Music from 8:30 PM
Vinyl-only • HK Audio High-Fidelity Sound System

Extended Set by The Mole
This edition features a vinyl-only program curated by Marc Gerrard, The Mole, and Redway, delivered through a HK Audio High-Fidelity Sound System, tuned specifically for the space and the music it holds. Expect deep selections, long-form storytelling, and a room designed for immersion rather than spectacle. A paired drink menu will be available, complementing the pace and atmosphere of the night.
A central focus of the evening is an extended set by The Mole (Colin de la Plante).
One of the true underground stalwarts of electronic music, The Mole brings decades of record-digging wisdom and genre-spanning taste to the floor. Known for his deep, groovy house and techno infused with eclectic textures and unexpected twists, his releases on labels such as Perlon, Ostgut Ton, Wagon Repair, Musique Risquée, and others have cemented his reputation as a singular voice in electronic music.
Rather than a standard slot, this extended performance allows his musical narrative to unfold slowly — weaving dusty disco, deep techno, rare cuts, and bespoke edits into a journey that rewards attention and patience. It’s a reminder of what vinyl DJing does best: time, tension, and trust between the selector and the room.
